John Lim / Founder & CEO
John Lim is the founder and CEO of Manor Group. He graduated from Imperial College London with a Masters in Composite Materials. Before establishing the Group in 2011, he was involved with the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*Star) as a Researcher in Biotechnology.
With his business philosophy of, “Never hold a business to yourself. Think partnerships and collaborations.” He continued to grow Manor Group where the company aims to focus on diversification in business investments to spread risks.
Besides devoting time to work and family, Mr. Lim served as a District Councillor of Singapore North East Community Development Council; Executive Committee Member and Chairman of Fundraising at the National Arthritis Foundation; Secretary and Executive Committee Member at Business Leaders Alumni Club (BLAC); Lifestyle Committee Member and May Day Charity Committee Member at Singapore Island Country Club; Mentor for the NUSS-NUS Mentorship Program; and Honorary Auditor at Chaine De Rotisserie.
Jasmine Tan / Co-founder & Executive Director
Jasmine Tan is the Executive Director of Manor Group. Before co-founding the company in 2011, she had many years of research and working experience in the areas of Civil and Environmental Engineering at various statutory boards.
She holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine (UK) and a Bachelor of Engineering (2nd Upper Honours) in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham (UK). To date, she completed the Master Certificate in Hospitality Management: Focus on Revenue Management and Certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from Cornell University.
Jasmine’s primary roles are to oversee building projects which Manor Group undertakes to increase its portfolio and ensuring that the assets owned are being well managed.
Gan Wan Pin / Director
Wan Pin holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
As a senior executive with over 20 years of supply chain management experience in the Asia Pacific region, he has held various commercial and management roles at Access World and A.P. Moller Maersk Group. Known for his strategic thinking and people-oriented leadership, Wan Pin excels in strategy development, change management, and merger and acquisition.
BG (Ret) Lim Yeow Beng / Senior Adviser
BG (Ret) Lim Yeow Beng is currently acting as Independent Adviser to Toll Global Logistics, ST Logistics Group, Pacorini Metals Asia and Goldbell Corporation.
He has more than 30 years of experience in the logistics industry, having served as the former President and CEO of ST Logistics Group of Companies and ex-Executive VP of Mainboard Listed Sembcorp Logistics. His past appointments included being Executive VP of Toll Holdings Limited and various senior command and staff positions in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). His last engagement at SAF was Head of Air Logistics where he was responsible for the total integrated logistics operations of the RSAF.
Mr Lim is a graduate of the National University of Singapore and holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Hons.) and Master of Science in Industrial Engineering. He is also the alumni of IMD, Switzerland in Executive Development Programme.
In Manor Group, his key responsibilities are assessing and evaluating new business opportunities, providing solutions and optimizing the group’s productivity levels.
Chaw Chih Wen / Creative Director
Chih Wen graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts (Architecture) and a Master of Architecture.
He is a registered architect in Singapore, the founding director of Hyphen Architects, and the principal designer of akyra Manor Hotel, Chiang Mai.
Chih Wen has been recognised in both regional and global awards, such as the Singapore Institute of Architects Award (Residential), BCI Asia Award (hospitality), Inside Awards (Residential) and AHEAD Asia (hospitality). Some of his work has been showcased in notable design platforms like Tokyo Designer’s Week and was a part of the Singapore Pavilion at the 2021 Venice Biennale of Architecture.
Helen Kok / Assistant Director
Helen graduated from Campbell University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Information Systems. She is a Certified Business Analytics Specialist and holds a Professional Certificate in Accounting and Finance.
Helen has more than 15 years of professional experience in hospitality management, covering different spectrum of the industry. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with a strong foundation in data and business analytics. She has a proven track record of managing and executing complex projects within the hospitality sector.
Helen’s primary roles are to develop, execute and support the group’s strategic initiatives.
Yann Gouriou / CEO & Founder, Unicorn Hospitality
Yann is an international hotelier and entrepreneur with extensive experience and well versed in all operational and financial aspects of running small, medium, to large volume hotel operations. Exposure to various markets such as Europe, South Pacific, Middle East, Asia and Caribbean
Yann has a proven track record of delivering positive business results while improving the tangible as well as intangible service aspects of the operation. Passionate and dedicated leader of people, committed to developing and furthering talent in the industry.
Christophe Gestin / General Manager
Christophe holds a Master's Degree in Hospitality and Catering Management from France, as well as a profession on Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management certified by Cornell University.
He is fluent in French and English with a fair ability for Spanish, German and Thai communications. Christophe brings over 10 years working experience in holding senior and executive positions in both 5-star boutique luxury properties and international branded hotels.
